Fever fans beneficiaries of 2018 fixture

West Coast Fever Members and fans will be treated to four Saturday night blockbusters at Perth Arena, following the unveiling of the 2018 Suncorp Super Netball fixture this morning.

Fever games remain at family friendly times, with the majority of home games to be played on Saturday nights, with the remainder on Sunday afternoons.

West Coast Fever Executive Officer Tamara Sheppard encouraged the passionate West Australian netball community to again throw their support behind their team in the second season of Suncorp Super Netball.

“This is a fantastic fixture for our Members and fans, and I know the team is already excited about stepping out in front of the passionate West Australian supporter base in Round 2,” Sheppard said.

“We have the best supporters in the country, who are loud, proud, and make our home venues intimidating for any opposition that walks in, and I am confident they will be behind Fever once again in 2018.”

Sheppard also said the fixture was strong from a high performance perspective.

“Being the team that travels the most in Suncorp Super Netball, we worked closely with the League to ensure we had consistency in breaks between games, as well as having our two trips to Queensland in the front half of the year,” she said.

Fever will begin their season with a road trip to Adelaide to face the Thunderbirds, before returning home for a blockbuster Saturday night clash against Magpies Netball at Perth Arena.

Fever will also take on the Adelaide Thunderbirds, the Queensland Firebirds and the Melbourne Vixens at the State’s premier indoor venue, as well as Giants Netball in a game that aligns with the 2018 Smarter than Smoking Association Championships, allowing the more than 13,000 participants from across the State the opportunity to see their Fever idols in action.

The remaining two games are scheduled for HBF Stadium against the NSW Swifts, as well as Indigenous Round against the Sunshine Coast Lightning, which for the first time, aligns with NAIDOC Week.

In further exciting news for the Fever Family, 2018 Memberships will go on sale for existing members next week, with a general public on sale date to be communicated before the end of the month.

Fever Fans can still register their interest for a 2018 Membership here to be the first to know when they go on sale.
