Fever fixtures announced for 2011
The West Coast Fever will kick-off their 2011 season with 3 games in just 7 days, including a trip to Christchurch against the Mercury Energy Tactix as their opening match in Round 2.
The Fever were given the Bye in Round 1, and seven home games for the year.
The big name New Zealand sides will all travel to Perth, with the Southern Steel, Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic, and Northern Mystics all headed west during next season.
Fans will also be treated to all four Australian teams here in Perth, making all Fever matches must-see games.
The 2011 draw has been shortened to accommodate the World Netball Championships to be held in Singapore in July next year, meaning the opening match is on the 13th February, and the final match (between the Thunderbirds and Fever at ETSA Park in Adelaide) will close the regular season on Monday 2nd May.
Thursday night matches have been introduced in 2011, along with the return of Saturday matches, while three "double rounds" will be seen next season.
